Resident Evil Village is a first-person survival horror video game that is about a house of blood-drinking vampire women who are also wine-makers. They are known to put "special" additives in their wines, giving them unique flavors. These vampire-like ladies are ruled over by the eight-foot-tall vampire matron Lady Dimitrescu, who called the witch-vampires her daughters.

Maus played one of these ghoulish yet beautiful women, giving fans of the genre something to be excited about in RE8. The witch ladies became something of a meme online, with plenty of fans trying to decide if they should cower or ask one of the scary daughters of Dimitrescu on a date. Resident Evil Village is slated to be released in May of 2021, with a playable mini-demo available now on the PS5 only. Another playable demo will be made available in Spring of 2021.

Resident Evil 8 Village will be available on May 7 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
