There are a variety of side quests for players to conquer in the Resident Evil 4 Remake. These requests pop up all over and are signified by a bright blue sheet of paper that can usually be found plastered to walls or doors. Players will definitely want to do as many of these requests as possible as they yield valuable Spinels, a currency that players can trade with the Merchant to obtain valuable gear and supplies. Some of these requests require players to find hidden items, like the Gold Chicken Egg.
Thankfully, finding the elusive Gold Chicken Egg isn't too difficult if players know where to look for it. To help those struggling to complete the Egg Hunt request, the following guide outlines where to get the Golden Egg in the Resident Evil 4 Remake.
Where To Get The Egg Hunt Request In RE4 Remake
In order to gain both Pesetas and Spinels for selling the Gold Chicken Egg, players will first need to find and obtain the Egg Hunt request. Thankfully, it's very easy to find as it's placed on the main story path. Players won't be able to obtain this request until after they have defeated the massive fish that stalks the lake, Del Lago. Once Del Lago has been defeated, players will watch a short cutscene and then be put back on the path to progressing forward. This will take them to the nearby Mural Cave, where they will find a special mechanism holding the key they need to open the Church. Once players leave this cave, they will spot the Egg Hunt request pinned to the wall nearby the boat.
Where To Find The Gold Chicken Egg In The RE4 Remake
Once players have the request, they can actually head immediately to the Gold Chicken Egg and pick it up. Thankfully, it's not too far from where the request itself is found. If players open their map, they'll notice a small ship icon in the middle of the lake and what appears to be a small area they can dock at directly east of the ship icon on the shoreline. If players drive their boat up to this area on the shoreline and interact with it, Leon will exit the boat and find himself surrounded by crates and a bunch of chickens. The Gold Chicken Egg in question can be found by heading to the back of the area and around a large bit of debris and crates. There, players should easily spot the gleaming gold egg sitting on the ground.
Once players have grabbed the Gold Chicken Egg, they can head to the dock on the Southwest of the Lake and climb up the ladder to find the Merchant (where players first entered the Lake location from the Quarry). Once players sell the Gold Chicken Egg to the Merchant, they will complete the request and receive their Spinels.
