One creative fan of the Resident Evil 4 remake has produced a mod that replaces Ashley Graham with the main protagonist of the Resident Evil 3 remake, Jill Valentine. For those who have a distinct love of RE3 and Jill herself, seeing the heroine in the Resident Evil 4 remake is likely another great way to play through the survivor horror title.

This will probably not be the first or the last time that the game's fans create mods to tweak their experience of the Resident Evil 4 remake. Though many still prefer to play the title in its base form, those who have already gone through everything there is to accomplish in the game may be looking for something new to experience. This explains why some people have already begun creating their own mods to make the gameplay of the Resident Evil 4 remake more challenging, breathtaking in terms of visuals, and unique by adding characters that were not included in the original playthrough.

On Nexus Mods, user CervezaBeer recently uploaded a mod that replaced the Resident Evil 4 remake's Ashley Graham with Jill Valentine from the Resident Evil 3 remake. This means that Jill will be following Leon Kennedy around instead of the President's 20-year-old daughter. Unfortunately, the visuals are all that the mod will replace, meaning that it will not tweak the movement or actions of the character to be based more on Jill's personality. However, fans who are already quite satisfied with how Ashley moves in the Resident Evil 4 remake will probably enjoy the fresh experience of having Jill as their companion in-game.

Now that fans are able to replace the Resident Evil 4 remake's main characters with others from the survival horror series, it may only be a matter of time until a bunch of similar mods are produced by the community. In CervezaBeer's sample images, their in-game Leon had already been replaced by a Chris Redfield mod. Eventually, the whole roster of iconic Resident Evil characters will probably be modded in by players, giving them a chance to go through the main plot with an entirely different cast from the original.

It is interesting to see that in such a short span of time after the Resident Evil 4 remake's launch, fans have already created a variety of mods that change the ways they can experience the game. Hopefully more character mods will be produced by the community as fellow players will probably want to add more of their other favorites into their next playthrough.

Resident Evil 4 is available for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
