A brief, five minute segment on Resident Evil 4 remake was shown via the Capcom Showcase. In it, game director Yasuhiro Anpo and producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi spoke about how the remake will capture the essence of Resident Evil 4, while also bringing modernity to the gameplay mechanics. Near the end of the segment, Capcom also showed off a thirty-second gameplay clip that takes place further into the game.

In addition to gameplay, Anpo and Hirabayashi also revealed that the main enemies of Resident Evil 4, the Ganado, are making a return, but have also been completely re-designed.
