The Resident Evil 4 remake is one of the most anticipated games of 2023. Each reveal trailer has showcased the game in a great state, and some fans of the original are very excited about the game's release. However, there is still a lot of uncertainty about the actual game. While the trailers have shown off the brand-new graphics and models for the game, there are many aspects some fans are worried about.

While some fans are excited about the remake, a portion of the fan base is saying it's clear that the Resident Evil 4 remake must avoid some of the original game's annoyances and downfalls if Capcom wants to nail this remake. Some fans are stating the remake needs to avoid things such as an overload of ammunition, as ammo wasn't nearly as scarce as some argue it should have been in the original. In addition, some think there should be fewer quick-time events.

Nobody knows what to expect from the Resident Evil franchise after the release of the Resident Evil 4 remake. Capcom had been struggling to restore the franchise to its former glory for quite some time. However, after the genre-changing release of Resident Evil 7 and finding popularity by remaking the beloved classics, Capcom has finally managed to make the Resident Evil series a big success again. But with that said, after the release of the Resident Evil 4 remake, some fans of the series are unsure where the series is going as many of the most successful games have been remastered and the Ethan Winters story is essentially wrapped up.

Resident Evil 4 launches March 24 for PC, PS4, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S.
