A popular modder has created nearly a dozen funny and scary mods of the Resident Evil 3 remake demo. The Resident Evil 3 remake demo has only been available to download and play since Friday, making the quick release of mods all the more surprising.

On YouTube, modder FluffyQuack has shared nine videos of all of the different mods they've made for the Resident Evil 3 remake demo. All of the mods are available to download for free but as the full version of the Resident Evil 3 remake is out next week, fans may not have time to enjoy all of them. However, of these mods, here are the top three created by FluffyQuack.

Every Enemy as Nemesis

Capcom has really tried to make Nemesis much scarier in the Resident Evil 3 remake. Videos from the game show Nemesis running at Jill and Capcom has confirmed that the enemy will be able to go all over Raccoon City as he tries to attack her. That's what makes this mod of the demo, which turns every enemy into Nemesis, so much scarier.

Viewers see Jill manage to run away from Nemesis at the beginning of the video, but the enemy just doesn't go away. There are Nemesis trying to attack Jill from behind gates and Nemesis that hide around corners. Wherever the Resident Evil 3 character goes, Nemesis is right there, waiting to attack her.

Nemesis as Thomas the Tank Engine

The idea of putting Thomas the Tank Engine into games goes back years. The Thomas the Tank Engine Skyrim mod was so popular that it got the modder into legal trouble. It's not surprising to see that FluffyQuack has also made a mod turning Nemesis into Thomas the Tank Engine, but somehow it doesn't make the enemy less scary.

What makes this mod worse is the way the Thomas the Tank Engine tune plays as he runs towards Jill. Seeing a popular children's cartoon character try to attack Jill would always be scary but that music is something else.

Resident Evil 3 Remake Demake

The last best Resident Evil 3 remake demo mod is this mod which turns all of the game's 3D characters 2D. Watch as Jill and Carlos have a conversation on a subway cart, all while looking like two paper dolls that have been brought to life by an errant bolt of lightning.

Several games have been demade by fans such as the Death Stranding and Cyberpunk 2077 PS1 versions and the Resident Evil 3 demo is in that sort of style. It looks so ridiculous that some fans may want Capcom to add it to the game as a real, official feature.

Resident Evil 3 launches on April 3 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
