In its first week, Capcom's Resident Evil 2 remake sold more than 3 million copies, which means that there's certainly a wide range of different players around the globe who are giving the survival-horror title a go. With this being the case, there's a good chance that some may be having issues making the most out of the title, especially when it comes to managing their inventories.

As many Resident Evil 2 fans will likely attest, storage space is often hard to come by without upgrading the in-game inventory system, so one will need to be on the lookout for Hip Pouch items that can be found around the Police Station and elsewhere. Those who come across all of the Hip Pouches will be able to expand their inventory by 12 additional slots in total.

All Resident Evil 2 Hip Pouch Locations

Hip Pouch Location 1

The first Hip Pouch can be found in the Police Station, on the third floor (3F), in the West Storage Room. It ought to be sitting on a table opposite of the barricade destroyed with the Detonator.

Hip Pouch Location 2

This Hip Pouch is also discoverable in the Police Station, but on the first floor (1F) this time, and in the Safety Deposit Room. It will be located in the locked compartment of 203, so players will need to have both Spare Keys in order to unlock it.

Both of the Spare Keys can be found in the Portable Safes that are hidden around the Police Station. The first Portable Safe is located in the Shower Room (2F), and finding the second one will require the Red Diamond Key to open the Linen Room (2F). The portable safes have randomized eight number codes, so just keep guessing until getting the combination right.

Hip Pouch Location 3

The third Hip Pouch is in the Police Station on the first floor (1F) and in the Operations Room. It will be in a safe in the private office, with the combination needed to unlock it being left 9, right 15, and left 7.

Hip Pouch Location 4

Hip Pouch number four can be found in the Underground Facility in the Operator's Room. It can be picked up in a locker by the save point.

Hip Pouch Location 5

This one is in the Sewers (Upper) in the Workroom. Players will first have to use the T-Bar Handle on the valve in the Lower Waterway in order to open up a passage that leads to the Workroom Lift. After taking the lift, one should find the Hip Pouch on a table in the Workroom.

Hip Pouch Location 6

The final Hip Pouch is in the Laboratory's Nap Room. Once the Signal Modulator is used to turn on the power in the room, the Hip Pouch should be located on one of the pod-like beds.

There's no doubt that having one's inventory maxed out in the Resident Evil 2 remake will provide players with better advantages and means for survival. After all, completely upgrading the inventory should give players more room for ammo and their weapons of choice like the Unbreakable Combat Knife, extra healing items such as a First Aid Spray, and other useful objects.
