After a troubled launch plagued by a plethora of bugs and clunky controls, recent patches for Remothered: Broken Porcelain aim to resolve major issues with animations, music, lighting, and more.

Previously, Remothered: Tormented Fathers released to high critical acclaim back in 2018 and even won some awards such as Best Horror Game and Best Indie Game with some publications. Even Keiichiro Toyama, the creator of the Silent Hill series, noted his admiration for the indie horror title brought by Italian developer Stormind Games. However, Broken Porcelain landed far from the success of Tormented Fathers, earmarked by numerous glitches and flaws that don't do its story any justice.

But now, a few months after Remothered: Broken Porcelain's full release, indie publishing label Modus Games announces patches for Steam, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One versions of the game that put Broken Porcelain in its most polished state so far.

Recent patches from Stormind Games include fixing a bug that causes players to lose control of Jennifer, typos in subtitles as well as subtitles disappearing, fixing an instance where Jennifer can become permanently stuck in a crouch, and many animation enhancements.

Now that Broken Porcelain has resolved numerous glitches since its release back in October, the main reason the game received such low reviews across all platforms, but unfortunately, many gamers may have moved on from the indie horror title after its unsuccessful launch. Still, recent reviews on Steam are now "Mostly Positive," however, many veterans of Tormented Fathers feel that Broken Porcelain simply isn't a satisfactory sequel.

Remothered: Broken Porcelain is available on PC, PS4, Switch, and Xbox One.
