Third-person shooter Remnant: From the Ashes gets the Swamps of Corsus DLC on PS4 and Xbox One. Developer Gunfire Games released the Swamps of Corsus DLC on PC in April but console players have had to wait until now to enjoy the new content.

The big new Remnant: From the Ashes DLC adds a new game mode, new quests, new enemies, and new armor for the player character to wear with style. Survival Mode offers some rogue-like gameplay as players are given just a pistol and some scrap, which is the game's main currency, and have to go through corrupted World Stones to visit different biomes and fight incredibly difficult bosses.

Beating bosses in Survival Mode, or beating the Campaign and Adventure Modes on Hard or Nightmare, will also give players Glowing Shards to use new armor skins. This is different from the game's Remnants Hardcore Mode, which was added last year to celebrate one million sales, but it should also let players see how good they really are at the game.

Remnant: From the Ashes Swamps of Corsus also adds several new quests, new bosses, and a new zone. There will be new items, new weapons, and new armor too, the development team has confirmed. The Remnant: From the Ashes reviews said that this is a very large game but the Swamps of Corsus DLC, which costs $9.99, sounds like it could add many more hours to it.

Remnant: From the Ashes is out now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
