Nvidia has announced that the two upcoming games Redfall and Diablo 4 will launch with DLSS 3 support. With both titles scheduled to release over the next few months, the feature will come as a welcome addition as fans eagerly await updates on Bethesda's Redfall and Blizzard's Diablo 4.

Recently, Bethesda gave fans a close look at what to expect from the horror-themed first-person shooter following the Redfall story trailer release as it offered a glimpse of the dark origins behind the story's town and its vampires. Meanwhile, Blizzard has also been increasingly promoting Diablo 4, going as far as partnering up with KFC to provide beta access to the game. Now, as both studios look to build excitement among the fanbase, a new feature from Nvidia will undoubtedly pique the interest of more gamers, particularly those keen on high-performance capabilities.

According to Nvidia, both Redfall and Diablo 4 will include DLSS 3 support at launch. DLSS 3 is Nvidia's latest version of its AI-enabled upscaling technology that not only improves frame rates during gameplay but also increases resolution in lower-end GPUs. Further, DLSS 3 ships with Nvidia Reflex, a feature that helps GeForce RTX users to reduce system latency. Currently, over 270 games and apps support DLSS with titles like Dying Light 2 and Cyberpunk 2077 including DLSS 3.

Apart from Redfall and Diablo 4, DLSS 3 will also come to Forza Horizon 5 which would mean GeForce RTX 40 Series GPUs can technically run past 120 FPS at 4K resolution. Nvidia has even published a DLSS 3 4K comparison video to showcase the technology at work in-game. Incidentally, this feature will be released on March 28, a day before the Forza Horizon 5 Rally Adventure expansion which is set to add its own slew of notable content updates.

Alongside the latest additions to the list of games supporting DLSS 3, more titles will likely follow suit and Nvidia already appears to be working on it. The company also announced that DLSS 3 is coming to Unreal Engine 5.2 and making its DLSS Frame Generation technology publicly available for developers to integrate into their games. While this likely translates to more games utilizing Unreal Engine 5 sooner than later, it will be a while until technologies like DLSS 3 become more widespread. Either way, fans of Diablo 4 and Redfall now have one more reason to look forward to when the games hit the stores later this year.

Redfall releases for PC and Xbox Series X/S on May 2. Diablo 4 launches on June 6 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
