Less than a week until you can download Red Dead Redemption's Legends and Killers Pack. Just in case you've been sitting on the fence about making the purchase, Rockstar has released a trailer showing all of the new content in action. Eight new multiplayer skins, nine new multiplayer maps, new achievements and a brutal tomahawk weapon await you in the the DLC, but is it worth $9.99 (or 800 Microsoft Points) to you?

The trailer shows off some of the key locations from the Pack, including the mountainside location of Rio Bravo, the foggy riverside Thieves Landing, and the Blackwater, favorite roost of snipers the world over. You also get a much closer look at each of the eight new multiplayer skins, which I wasn't aware are taken from the main characters of Read Dead Revolver. It's all the more enticing knowing Pig Josh has a backstory, rather than being just another tubby guy with a belt of dynamite.

While I wish Rockstar was releasing another cooperative DLC pack, rather than more multiplayer content, the thing that gets me is that there are three more DLC packs lined up after this, and still no cooperative content! Seriously Rockstar, am I missing something? Does cooperative content just not sell? Or are you focused on stealing some of that sweet Call of Duty map pack moolah?

Or perhaps the cooperative missions were made by the employees laid off last month. Yeah, I know, kind of a low blow, but Rockstar deserves it.

One thing for certain is that the Legends and Killers Pack looks like a lot of fun. For 800 Microsoft points or $9.99 on PSN you score a lot of fun new stuff if you're interested the multiplayer side of Red Dead Redemption.

What do you think of the trailer, Ranters? Does the downloadable content look like something you're interested in picking up? How about the three upcoming DLC packs?

Red Dead Redemption's Legends and Killers Pack will be available August 10 for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
