Following the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, many fans noticed that features from the original game weren't included in the second game. While Red Dead Redemption 2 does have a number of lighthearted and amusing moments, the original Red Dead Redemption featured a lot more goofy elements, one being mythical horses.

The story of John Marston in the original Red Dead Redemption offered a number of serious and emotional moments, like with Red Dead Redemption 2, but there is also a multitude of less believable game mechanics featured throughout, such as having horses with special abilities named after the four horsemen of the apocalypse: death, famine, pestilence, and war. Now, a Red Dead Redemption 2 player has managed to recreate one of these horses in-game.

A Reddit user by the name of M0R7UM managed to recreate the War horse from the original Red Dead Redemption. The War horse was a pre-order bonus back when the game first released, but it was later added to the game following the release of Undead Nightmare. It's amazing to see the horse come back to life with updated graphics.

It's cool to see how much influence the original Red Dead Redemption has on the gaming community. Since the release of Red Dead Redemption 2, players have been recreating other elements from the original game within the second installment. For instance, one player recreated nearly every outfit from Red Dead Redemption 1 in Red Dead Redemption 2.

Many players consider the story and characters of Red Dead Redemption 2 to be much more complex and involved than in the previous game, but the first game also had its fair share of narrative complexity, especially towards the end. While the story of Arthur Morgan may take itself more seriously, it's not without its fair share of goofiness reminiscent of the previous installment. Though, it definitely doesn't feature legendary horses named after the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds in terms of Red Dead Redemption. Right now, most of Rockstar Games' efforts seem to be focused on the development of Red Dead Online. Thus, another mainline installment in the Red Dead Redemption series likely won't release for several more years. Then again, with how many rumors there have been regarding the development of Grand Theft Auto 6, fans might be able to expect something new from Rockstar Games in the years to come.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
