Rockstar's Red Dead Redemption II has challenges a player can attempt to complete in order to get better-upgraded holsters and bandoliers. Players who are interested in 100% completing the game must also complete these challenges in order to do so, earning them an achievement and bragging rights among their friends. Players will also have the chance to explore everything the game has to offer.

Once players are done with the story, they are able to go back and finish any of the challenges that are leftover. The challenges can range from robbing innocent people to hunting for the different species that inhabit the world.

9 Bandit Challenges: Get Ready To Be Evil

As expected, the bandit challenges require the player to rob people of their valuables. Players can expect to lose a lot of honor by trying to complete these, as they can turn Arthur evil real quick. Some challenges require the player to rob five trains without dying, while other challenges require the player to hogtie and leave three different people on train tracks.

Without trying, players could easily complete these challenges depending on their play style. For players who care about their honor, it would be best to leave these challenges for last.

8 Explorer Challenges: Knowing The Land Is Important

The explorer challenges are pretty simple, as the player only needs to follow a treasure map and locate the treasure. Knowing certain features of the land is important too, as the map will most likely show a prominent location - such as a train bridge or a certain building.

The treasures will not be in difficult locations, and players should be able to locate the landmarks pretty easily. This challenge is pretty fun, as it can help players locate areas they normally would not go to, such as behind waterfalls and caves.

7 Horseman Challenges: Horse Bond And Stamina Are Important

The horse-related challenges have the player kill animals a certain way on horseback, make it from one city to another in a certain time, and have the player enter combat on horseback. Because most of the game takes place on horseback, these challenges should be relatively easy.

Raising the bond with a horse will help, as having a higher bond will keep the horse from bucking the player off. This will come in handy, especially when in combat with enemies and when having to trample animals with the horse. This especially comes in handy, as players will need to travel across the map without touching water, needing to sprint more often.

6 Master Hunter Challenges: Time To Become One With Nature

Hunting is taught to the player early in the game, and each tier of this challenge adds a bit more of a challenge. The beginning has the player skin three deer, but it gets more difficult as the player will need to hunt bears and cougars with a bow. The most difficult part will be finding an opossum playing dead, as players will need to kill one while the opossum plays dead.

These challenges will get players out into nature and on the hunt. It is important to bring health tonics and ammo, as the bigger animals can possibly kill the player.

5 Gambler Challenges: Get Ready To Lose Time And Money

The gambler challenges will most likely be the most time consuming of them all. Players will need to play each type of gambling game, which can be poker, dominoes, five finger fillet, or blackjack. The player will also be required to play and beat certain games in every location it is available.

The more the player plays each type of game, the more comfortable they will be as the challenges progress. Despite the later tiers requiring the player to win a game three times in a row, a little practice will make this more than possible.

4 Survivalist Challenges: A Little Luck And Crafting

The survivalist challenges require the player to craft each kind of arrow and tomahawk, while also catching each type of fish found in the game. Because each type of fish is required, players will have to wait until they can access New Austin to complete this challenge.

Crafting each type of arrow and tomahawk will require certain items, such as feathers or oleander. While catching every kind of fish might sound challenging, it will make for a fun time. Players can relax and fish in the different locations found in Red Dead 2.

3 Sharpshooter Challenges: Distance And Aim Must Be Considered

These challenges can be a bit more difficult, as the player will need to factor in distance. Some of the tiers require the player to kill someone with a tomahawk from 80 feet or snipe someone who is 660 feet away. Luckily for the rest of the tiers, Deadeye can be used by the player.

Players will need to work on their aim, as they will be required to shoot the hats off three enemies in one Deadeye session and will need to shoot the gun out of three enemies' hands without reloading or switching weapons. Players can also use these challenges to practice their aiming and shooting abilities.

2 Herbalist Challenges: Time To Get Picking

The herbalist challenge is pretty simple, as the player will mostly need to pick certain types of plants. The benefit of this is the player will have to craft certain tonics and season meat with certain herbs. These will give a benefit to the player, such as higher stamina or health.

By finding plants, players are able to discover the benefits or threats each one presents. Some plants are poisonous, so players will know which ones to avoid.

1 Weapons Expert Challenges: Learning To Fight Better

The weapons expert challenges have the player complete insane tasks, such as taking down a bear with throwing knifes and killing 4 enemies with one stick of dynamite. Despite this sounding challenging, it is rather easy.

Players are able to hogtie whatever amount of enemies they need, making it a lot easier to complete certain tiers. Players can also replay certain missions, making it easier to kill 9 enemies with a bow. Completing this challenge will make players much braver when it comes to fighting enemies - human or furry.
