Arthur Morgan's bittersweet tale of finding the meaning of becoming a good man in Red Dead Redemption 2 will never be complete without its antagonists. To oppose the notorious, ill-reputed Van der Linde gang in the unforgiving world of the outlaws, these characters have to stand out and stand firm.

One of the new characters to be featured in the game is Leviticus Cornwall, a wealthy business mogul who serves as a second antagonist throughout the game. With that being said, there are some trivia facts that casual fans might not know about him.

10 Leviticus Cornwall's Cigarette Card

Head over to Valentine to find Leviticus Cornwall's Cigarette Card as a part of the Prominent Americans Card Set. To do so, find a small house located next to the 'I' in 'Valentine' on the map and search over the small porch inside it.

Aside from that, this unique card can also be obtained through finishing 'The King's Son' and 'Our Best Selves' in the Beaver Hollow chapter. It can be found at Fort Wallace's Southeast end.

9 Leviticus Cornwall Was John Rue's Video Game Debut

John Rue, the motion-capture and likeness actor of the business mogul, has a pretty solid portfolio under his belt. He's featured on 11 episodes of political drama House of Cards, as well as Blue Bloods as Ed Hines, soap opera One Life to Live, and plenty of others.

However, Red Dead Redemption 2 was his video game debut, and to portray such a shady hateable character, he surely did an excellent job.

8 His Personal Yacht Is Called Malvina

During the Beaver Hollow chapter, Dutch, with helps from Micah and Arthur, confronts Leviticus Cornwall. His private, state-of-art yacht is called Malvina, though it's never mentioned on the game, meaning 'smooth brow.'

James Macpherson, a Scottish poet & wordsmith, popularized the term back in the 18th century as the love interest of a man named Oscar in one of his internationally popular poems.

7 Leviticus Cornwall Rarely Appears

Despite being the game's secondary antagonist, Leviticus Cornwall only appears in three missions, and one of them being a cameo.

The first one is 'Who the Hell is Leviticus Cornwall?' when Dutch, despite his order of laying low, attempted to rob the wealthy man's train. The second is called 'The Sheep and the Goats' with John Marston as they try to sell a herd of stolen sheep before being confronted by Leviticus. The last is 'Just a Social Call' when Dutch, Micah, and Arthur take revenge against Leviticus.

6 He Owns At Least 5 Different Businesses

These five different ventures range between railroad and coal companies. They are Cornwall City Railroad Company, Cornwall Co. Freight Yard, Cornwall Kerosene & Tar, Cornwall Southern & Eastern Railways, and Jameson Mine and Coal Company who he had a fair share of stake with its legitimate owner, Archibald Jameson.

5 He Funds The Pinkerton National Detective Agency

Without Leviticus Cornwall, there would not be a Pinkertons National Detective Agency. At some point before the events of Red Dead Redemption 2, Leviticus funded the agency to get rid of his business rivals and enemies, including Dutch van der Linde, who robbed his train later on.

The Pinkertons is indeed a real-life detective agency, formed by Allan Pinkerton back in 1850, and it's still active today. Upon the game's release, the company tried to sue Rockstar and Take Two for the game's portrayal of the company as the villains.

4 He Underpays His Workers

When Arthur, Dutch, and Micah confronted Leviticus Cornwall in Annesburg, the ultra-tycoon talked to the leader of worker union, Didsbury, about the current wage strike by the mining workers of Jameson Mine and Coal Company.

This implies that Leviticus Cornwall is indeed a shady businessman who underpays his workers. No wonder Dutch's men were eager to rob him, given the gang's number-one motto to rob the rich and give it to the poor.

3 He Sabotaged Small Businesses

Another crooked example of how Leviticus Cornwall ran his business is when he ordered his men to ambush a small-time owner of a local company, Mr. Varley. Before the events of Red Dead Redemption 2, Leviticus and Mr. Varley had a not-so-easy patch because Leviticus felt threatened by Mr. Varley's existence.

Enraged, Leviticus ordered his men to destroy Mr. Varley's small business, Oil Derrick, located in The Heartlands. His corpse can be found among the ruins.

2 How Wealthy Is Leviticus Cornwall According To Inflation?

With five different business ventures, ranging from mining to the railway, Leviticus Cornwall must be worth millions of dollars in today's market inflation. Jeremy Ray of Fandom calculated an estimation of his net worth, and the writer came up with a pretty shocking number: a whopping $12 billion in today's currency ($400,000 in the Old West).

1 Leviticus Cornwall Is No Better Than A Gang Of Criminals

Cornwall in Red Dead Redemption 2

In the long run, Leviticus Cornwall is a nasty businessman who's never afraid of going the extra mile and crossing the line, even if it means underpaying his workers and murdering a small-time business rival.

Like Dutch once said to him, "You kill, I kill. You rob, I rob. Only difference I can see is I choose whom I kill and rob and you destroy everything in your path." Maybe he deserved what he got.
