Red Dead Redemption 2 possesses a significant number of memorable characters that numerous players have become attached to. With so many different stories being told throughout the game by way of side quests involving various members of the Van Der Linde gang, Red Dead Redemption 2 manages to portray its characters in such a way that has allowed many players to become fond of them. Though, one such player has encountered a rather unexpected sight involving a particular character from Red Dead 2.

While characters like Arthur Morgan tend to steal most of the spotlight, many players have gravitated to numerous different side characters presented throughout the world of the game. One of which being Uncle, who's known for his slothful candor and his aversion towards work of any kind.

A Reddit user by the name of zSn0opx managed to capture a screenshot that shows Uncle apparently doing hard labor at John Marston's homestead at the end of the game. The comments from other users showcased nothing but utter disbelief, considering that for almost the entirety of Red Dead Redemption 2, Uncle does next to no actual work, a point that all of the supporting characters constantly reinforce.

Many fans went so far as to claim that the screenshot had been photoshopped or faked, which honestly goes to show how ingrained Uncle's character archetype is with many fans of Red Dead 2. It's interesting to see how much of a profound effect characters like Uncle have had on the game's player base. Even after being out for nearly three years, the game is still being actively discussed online and plenty of great memes continue to surface as well. Many involving prominent Red Dead Redemption 2 characters, like Micah Bell.

It will be interesting to see what the future of this franchise will be. Right now, a lot of emphasis is being placed on Red Dead Online, with new events and missions being added for players to enjoy. However, odds are, there won't be another mainline entry in the Red Dead Redemption series for some time, considering that it took Rockstar Games well over eight years to finish development on Red Dead 2.

It's clear that Rockstar Games is working on its next big title, given all of the different rumors that have circulated online, as well as Rockstar offering jobs for certain roles within the studio. As of right now, it's impossible to know what the studio's next project will be. Many fans have guessed Grand Theft Auto 6 or a remake of the first Red Dead Redemption, but fans won't know for certain until Rockstar is ready to move forward.
