The Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay experience has become synonymous with some of the wackiest moments in gaming. From gunfights gone wrong to random interactions with NPCs, Red Dead Redemption 2 is a hotbed for hilarious clips.
Red Dead Redemption 2 trains are dangerous, and as a clip shows a player riding their horse towards a train in an attempt to rob it, one cannot help but feel some sense of dread. As expected, the robbery attempt goes horribly wrong in just about every way one could imagine, leading to a series of hilarious moments culminating in the player's death.
Reddit user javi4881,posted the clip with the title "Tried to Rob a Train," and based on the clip's content, all emphasis should be put on the word "tried." All of javi4881's attempts to enter the train fail miserably, leading to a hilarious sequence of situations.
As with other Red Dead Redemption 2 clips, everything starts normally, with javi4881 riding on horseback towards the train. Then, javi4881 barely makes the jump to get on, nearly getting clipped by the side of a bridge. The Red Dead Redemption 2 player confidently stands up on the train, but is immediately slammed in the back of the head by the top of the bridge, falling back onto the top of the train. Then, invisible barriers seem to knock javi4881 down over and over, preventing them from standing back up. Slowly, these hits send javi4881 over the side of the train, and they fall off the bridge into the jaws of an alligator waiting below.
Many Reddit users love funny Red Dead Redemption 2 posts, and this clip was no exception. One user joked that he was glad the alligator was there to break javi4881's fall. Another user called the clip the perfect robbery, and joked that javi4881 got hit in the head, fell off a train, and was eaten by an alligator attempting to rob a train that supposedly couldn't even be entered. The best comment may have been from someone who said javi4881 was just a fast food delivery for the gator all along.
Random Red Dead Redemption 2 clips are some of the most beloved, and this one was unpredictable from start to finish. Perhaps javi4881 can learn from the poor experience so that they can post a redemption arc to Reddit; maybe next time, javi4881 will rob a train that can be entered, duck below bridge supports, and kill the gator instead of it killing him. Regardless of the next robbery's outcome, javi4881's clip was a wonderful addition to the vault of random and hilarious Red Dead Redemption 2 moments.
