Red Dead Redemption 2: How to Find Serial Killer

While players have plenty to sink their teeth into with Red Dead Redemption 2, such as hunting down the legendary animals, one of the more perplexing, but intriguing, side quests involves the pursuit of a serial killer. It is called Killer Clue and requires players to visit three different locations to assemble the Pieced Together Map. This map will then lead the players to the serial killer. It's worth mentioning this article contains what some would consider minor SPOILERS.

The first clue is located between Strawberry and Wallace on the road that intersects with the rail road. Follow the trail of dismembered bodies up the hill until reaching a rock. Red Dead Redemption 2 players will find a severed head with a piece of paper in its mouth, which is eerily the first clue.

Next up, players will want to head south of Valentine, not terribly far from the Bison spawn, where they will find a blood trail leading underneath a railroad. Once inside, players will find another head on the left. The third and final clue is south of Rhodes, east of the Braithwaite Manor. Coming down from the north, players will find another trail of blood leading to a tree where they will find the third victim's head. Check out following maps for the exact location of each clue in their respective order:

After this is said and done, the map will lead players to a secret area known as Lucky Cabin. To find it, go southwest of Valentine until seeing a white Stranger area appear on the map. Follow those directions to the cabin and search for a pair of basement doors.

Once inside, players should equip their lantern, pick up the two letters on the table, and then investigate the knife on the floor. The final action will trigger an ambush, requiring players to fight back and hogtie the attacker. After this tussle, he can be returned to the sheriff for the reward of $20, but not before the player has to pull his weapon on the serial killer.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
