Red Dead Redemption 2 is considered by many in the gaming community to be one of the most expansive and technically impressive games ever made. In a lot of ways, this rings true, but for a game as ambitious and large as Red Dead Redemption 2bugs and glitches can often slip through the cracks. One player has discovered one such glitch, and the results are rather surprising.

While not every AAA game may possess the same technical issues and shortcomings of something like Cyberpunk 2077, players manage to find a way to encounter bugs and glitches in just about any game. Whether that's completely by accident or pushing the boundaries of the game way too far, it's simply a byproduct of game development. However, this isn't to say that bugs and glitches aren't without entertainment value.

This latest glitch comes courtesy of Reddit user tock-N-call-borture, who found a bridge glitch during John Marston's epilogue. During a mission with Sadie Adler, the bridge started to violently shake in various directions, causing Sadie to get sent up into the air whenever her character tried to cross the bridge. What makes the situation even more amusing is that no matter high up she went, Sadie always gets back up as if nothing happened once she reached the ground.

For how much time Rockstar Games has spent on Red Dead Redemption 2 in terms of its initial development, as well as numerous patches released over the course of the last few years, it's interesting that glitches like this still manage to surface. Then again, games like Skyrim still contain glitches and have managed to maintained their popularity for nearly ten years.

Not to mention all of the work that's being done for Red Dead Online, which likely requires much more maintenance than the base version of Red Dead Redemption 2, given the large amount of content already available for the game. Considering the scale of Red Dead Online, there's almost certainly more to be found there by way of bugs and glitches.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Rockstar Games. Right now, there's a lot of different rumors floating around regarding the studio's future projects that range from Grand Theft Auto 6 to a potential remake of the original Red Dead Redemption. With E3 2021 rapidly approaching and with Take-Two Interactive, Rockstar's parent company, confirmed to present at the event, there could be some kind of update regarding future projects.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently available on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
