Rockstar Games has long been on record letting fans know that Red Dead Redemption 2 would be giving PS4 first access to certain online content for 30 day period before players on Xbox One would receive it. Now, with the western game's release date just two weeks away, the developer has decided to share the first details regarding PlayStation's 30 days early-access content coming to what Rockstar is calling its "deepest and most expansive world to date."

As seen in the image below, one of the items Rockstar is offering PlayStation 4 players first is the Grizzlies Outlaw Outfit, which fans can use to customize the protagonist Arthur Morgan in the game's story mode. Plus, once November rolls around and Red Dead Online is live, Red Dead Redemption 2 players on PS4 will get 30 days early access to the versatile Arabian horse featuring a custom Alligator skin saddle, and the High Roller double-action revolver.

With PlayStation 4 users getting content before Xbox One, it looks as if Rockstar Games is working close with Sony when it comes to promoting Red Dead Redemption 2, for this timed-exclusivity deal was announced almost immediately after the sequel was confirmed. Not to mention, Sony also revealed a special PS4 Pro bundle a couple of weeks ago that features a copy of of the game as well as a 1 TB hard drive.

While Rockstar and Sony seem to be promotional partners for Red Dead Redemption 2, Microsoft fans shouldn't feel too left out of the party, especially since it was recently confirmed that the Xbox One X version will run in native 4K, and push the game to its technological limits. So, taking all of this into consideration, it will be interesting to see which platform sells the most copies in the long run.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is scheduled to release on October 26, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
