When it comes to Red Dead Redemption 2, many fans consider immersion to be a central part of the game's overall experience. From feeding, bathing, and dressing the player character appropriately based on weather conditions, to realistically skinning animals and cleaning weaponry, there's a certain degree of realism in Red Dead Redemption 2 that many in the gaming community thoroughly appreciate. Although, one fan in particular has taken the game's immersive factor to a whole other level.

As to be expected from a game about cowboys in the wild west, one of the key game mechanics featured in Red Dead Redemption 2 is horse riding. The various horse breeds featured throughout Red Dead Redemption 2 can greatly impact gameplay in a multitude of ways, but ultimately serve the utility purpose of getting the player from point A to point B. Though, one fan has found a way to make the experience of riding a horse in Red Dead Redemption 2 more realistic.

A YouTuber by the name of Teenenggr divised a way to make the player physically feel like they are riding a horse in Red Dead Redemption 2. By attatching pistons to the bottom of the table legs on their desk and running a program that correlates the horse's movements in-game to the movements of the pistons, the desk gives off movement similar to how a horse actually moves. Despite how goofy it looks, in a way, it likely does help to put the player in the shoes of Arthur Morgan.

This is a truly creative and fun way to experience Red Dead Redemption 2. It's amazing to see what fans can accomplish when given the correct inspiration. The sheer amount of engineering that went into this realistic horse riding simulation is astounding and plenty of other internet users have accomplished similar feats with different games and resources. For instance, one player managed to beat Dark Souls 3 via bananas.

Despite Red Dead Redemption 2 being nearly three years old, it's exciting to see that players are still finding ways to appreciate the game in new ways. Not to mention the impressive number of gameplay details that players are still discovering to this day. Take, for example, one player discovering fake beggars in Red Dead Redemption 2.

However, the future of Red Dead Redemption is fairly uncertain. While the bulk of new Red Dead Redemption content has come in the form of Red Dead Online, many fans have speculated that there will be a remake of the original Red Dead Redemption at some point in the future. Though, Rockstar Games has yet to officially confirm the development of any such remake.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently available on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
