Red Dead Redemption 2 was a massively successful blockbuster when it first came out on consoles, and now new life is being breathed into the title with its upcoming launch on PC. This launch will provide players with the endless fun of exploration in single-player, but it will also bring Red Dead Online to a new community. Given the success of GTA V Online alone, many people look forward to experiencing a similar adventure in the old west but on PC now.

The frequent updates and improvements made to Red Dead Online have shown that Rockstar is committed to keeping the game alive for a long time to come. Now the immersive gameplay that made Red Dead Redemption 2 a hit will be available to many more gamers, and some aspects, like the graphics, will be an improvement over the already impressive console experience. The game will fully release for PC on November 5th.

Where and When to Pre-Order

Pre-orders are currently available on the Rockstar Games Launcher, where the most pre-order bonuses can be claimed. Pre-orders will only be available on the Rockstar Games Launcher until October 22nd, when other retailers will be able to provide pre-orders as well. The Epic Games store, Greenman Gaming, the Humble Store, GameStop and others will have pre-orders starting on October 23rd. Steam will only get access to Red Dead Redemption 2 in December. Rockstar is incentivizing players to purchase through their proprietary store by providing earlier pre-order access and a larger amount of bonuses.

Bonuses

Not only will there be new content in Red Dead Redemption 2 for the PC release, but the pre-order bonuses are pretty staggering on their own. Pre-orders from most retailers will receive 25 gold bars for Red Dead Online, but the list of bonuses is much longer for orders on the Rockstar Games Launcher.

Until the 22nd, pre-ordering on the Rockstar Games Launcher will give players two of the following titles: Grand Theft Auto III, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City, Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Bully: Scholarship Edition, L.A. Noire: The Complete Edition, or Max Payne 3: The Complete Edition.

All pre-orders on the Rockstar Launcher up until release will also be upgraded to the Premium Edition of Red Dead Redemption 2 for free, with both the Special Edition and Ultimate Edition discounted by $20. In game, players will receive an Outlaw Survival Kit, War Horse, Treasure Map, and Cash bonus in Story Mode, plus 50 Gold Bars for Online. The extra currency in Red Dead Online is especially appealing, since it will allow many players to jump in to the Red Dead Online's wacky antics without worrying too much about grinding for cash.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is currently available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems, will release on PC on November 5th, and will also be available this November as a launch title for Google Stadia.
