Nearly one year after its initial console launch, Red Dead Redemption 2 is finally making its way to PC players. The announcement comes about a week after an accidental posting of the PC ratings classification appeared online from the Australian Classification Board. With the cat now officially out of the bag, Rockstar Games is attempting to sweeten the pot for players who choose to purchase the game on the PC with all sorts of pre-order bonuses as well as a free game.

The initial announcement of Red Dead Redemption 2 on PC indicates that the game will be available to download from most marketplaces like the Epic Games Store, Greenman Gaming, the Humble Store, and Steam. Pre-ordering from these locations gives players 25 Gold Bars for Read Dead Online, essentially the premium currency of this game mode. However, it appears that Rockstar would prefer fans to pre-purchase the game on its own launcher where players will score a tidal wave of bonus content.

  • 50 Gold Bars for Red Dead Online

The game itself launches on November 9 and in addition to the main campaign and Red Dead Online being included, the PC version comes with a few bonuses features that its console bretheren don't have. Since this is the first Red Dead game to arrive on the PC, players will have access to a range of new graphical and technical settings and enhancements to further optimize the experience. Rockstar has also promised new Bounty Hunting Missions, Gang Hideouts, Weapons, and more.

For those who want the ultimate Red Dead Redemption 2 experience, Rockstar seems to be positioning the PC platform as the way to go. Rockstar has promised more details on the PC version next week on October 9. Players can get a look at the game's updated visuals through new screenshots, check out the system specifications, and even more details.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now on Xbox One, PS4, and launches for the PC on November 9.
