Red Dead Redemption 2 continues to prove itself to be a game filled with intricate details and Easter eggs that not all players notice, but the ones who do appreciate the little touches designers put on the game. Some of these RDR2 details are cool and reveal lore, while others are just plain creepy. But, this is a game about the dangers of living in the Old West, so some morbidity is to be expected.

Reddit user NarneX2 took to the Red Dead Redemption 2 subreddit to share an interesting piece of information some people might have missed at Micah's Hideout, which is a criminal encampment at the top of the icy Mount Hagen. Micah is one of the most hated characters in RDR2, so much that players created a mod just to kick a version of the backstabbing murderer around. Whether it's killing dogs, kids, or betraying people who trusted him, Micah is pretty amoral and his hideout reflects this, as this user finds when he uncovers a dead man in an outhouse.

The user posted a video showing the RDR2 community a morbid detail of an ice-cold corpse stuck forever on the john inside a wooden outhouse. The building has a door but can't be entered in normal gameplay, but it's made of wooden slats and as such it's not too difficult to look through the gaps.

The user uses the in-game binoculars to look through various holes and openings to reveal different angles of a dead body sitting on the toilet. The man appears to be holding a crutch, but it's unclear as to what the person's identity is, if he's even meant to be a named character. One user in the comments shows off an image of the entire body, which was captured using RDR2 mods, and makes it clear that the man is hunched over a crutch but conceals the corpse's face. A few other comments speculated on who the man could be, with one popular comment hoping for the man to actually be Micah himself.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a pretty violent game, and seeing bodies is commonplace. Even if the Easter egg ends up being an unknown body, it's pretty cool to see people spending enough time in the game to uncover all of Red Dead Redemption 2's details. With a game as intricately crafted as this one, people will probably be still finding neat things far in the future, even if they end up being as creepy and macabre as this one.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
