For the past couple of weeks, Red Dead Redemption 2 has been all anyone can talk about. The game, which was revealed in 2016 and dealt a couple of delays before launching on October 26th, is chock full of content well past the lengthy story line for outlaw Arthur Morgan. It's fair to say that most people have gone off the beaten path a least a little bit since they've started playing, looking for quests and items that aren't explicitly highlighted.

For those trying to 100% Red Dead Redemption 2, they'll be happy to hear they don't have to complete everything in order to do so. Much like 2013's Grand Theft Auto V, players will need to complete a required number of select missions in order to check off their list of categories to satisfy their obligations. One of those requirements is to complete 10 Strangers side-quests, which are fully fleshed out story arcs with less important NPCs and companions located throughout the vast open-world.

One of those strangers Arthur may encounter is European Inventor Marko Dragic, essentially Rockstar's take on Nikolai Telsa, who offers quite the scientific journey which unfolds in a strange way. In addition to completing the Marko Dragic quest, finding out his fate unlocks the Trophy/Achievement called 'Artificial Intelligence.'

Spoilers following for this particular side-quest:

First location of Marko Dragic

In order to run into Marko Dragic, the player must progress past the introduction of Chapter 4 in the main story. Dragic can be located in the town of Saint Denis between the hours of 6am and 6pm alongside the pond nearby (marked above). Triggering the quest line, titled A Bright Bouncing Boy, sees Arthur using a remote control battleship to destroy other ships located around the pond while avoiding what appear to be magnetic mines scattered along the water's surface. Arthur's ship can only take a single hit from these mines, as a second one will destroy it.

After taking out all of the ships, the player will then have to complete a second challenge where they must destroy small sail boats that move along the water move quickly. Again, mines will be scattered throughout, so tread carefully. Finishing Dragic's second challenge will prompt the second part of his quest line.

Second location of Marko Dragic

To start the second part of the quest line, a full day must pass in-game (which can be exploited by sleeping at a hotel or camp), and requires Arthur to meet Marko Dragic at his laboratory located at Dover Hill between the hours of 10pm and 5am during an active thunderstorm. A cutscene will initiate once Arthur enters the lab, and Dragic will ask him to go outside to plant three electric detectors in various locations near the lab. In order to find the exact spot to plant these detectors, players will have to aim the detector to read their proximity to each spot. The faster the detectors are blinking, the closer the player is. Eventually, the blub will remain lit, indicating the player is in the right spot to set the detector.

Once all three detectors are planted, return to the lab. Arthur must then climb to the top of the tower outside the lab and activate the circuit board. When Arthur reaches the circuit board, interact with the right switch first, the left switch second, and finally the middle switch in order to turn on all three meters. Return to the lab for another cutscene, where Marko Dragic presents Arthur with his newest creation, a fully-operational robot. This concludes the second part of the quest line.

For the third and final part, the player must allow for two whole days (48 hours) to pass in-game (again, sleeping at a hotel will speed things up), before returning to Dragic's lab. When Arthur opens the door to the lab, he'll see Dragic on the ground dead, presumably murdered, and his robotic creation nowhere to be found. Lying next to him is an electric lantern, which Arthur can pick up, seemingly the reward for completing this particular story line. And once players discover the fate of Marko Dragic they will unlock the Artificial Intelligence trophy or achievement.

Dragic's Strangers arc is just one of the many players can experience in Red Dead Redemption 2. There's a whole slew of activities to participate in, as well as a number of silly easter eggs fitting to the Rockstar style of their open-world titles. The game surely isn't having a tough time sitting on store shelves either, as its first eight days on the market have already outpaced sales of 2010's original Red Dead Redemption.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
