The Lemoyne Raiders work for the Braithwaite family in at least one mission. When Hosea and Arthur go to the saloon in Rhodes to sell moonshine, the Lemoyne Raiders show up to take it back. Of course, this occurs after Hosea tries to sell the Braithwaite family the moonshine.

The Lemoyne Raiders helping the Braithwaite family is also a reference to the Hatfield-McCoy feud. The Gray-Braithwaite feud is based on the feud, with the Hatfields using Confederate militia on their side.

9 In Control Of Fort Brennand

The Lemoyne Raiders are a gang, but they have taken control of Fort Brennand in Lemoyne. Fort Brennand was also the site of a Civil War battle, with the Confederates winning the battle. The Union soldiers who were stationed at the fort were executed when they surrendered.

There are also plans to build a memorial site at the fort to remember the Union soldiers who were killed. Sadly, the Lemoyne Raiders have taken it over. The player is able to clear out the fort, clearing it for the state to build a memorial site.

8 Made Up Of Civil War Veterans

The Lemoyne Raiders are made up of a lot of Civil War veterans. Confederate soldiers from the Civil War went on to still attack soldiers and ransack areas until 1907. Newer soldiers are still recruited to the Lemoyne Raiders, including young adults who were born after the Civil War.

5 Killed A State Legislator

During the mission 'American Distillation', the player can drive up to a crime scene. The player will be prompted to investigate the site, learning that a state legislator was killed. The deputy will say the Lemoyne Raiders killed the man, who was named Fredrick Mitchell.
