Because of this, it is important to ensure that players continue to have the best and most up-to-date information. This update adds a video guide to help players locate one of Red Dead 2's coolest melee weapons: the Civil War Knife.
Red Dead Redemption 2 features dozens of rare weapons. While many of these weapons can be demanding to locate, finding them can provide Arthur Morgan with some of the game's most impressive means of protection. The Civil War Knife is one of the more straightforward rare weapons to locate in Red Dead 2, if gamers know where to look.
While the knife does not have any type of buff, it is an aesthetically pleasing weapon that players should pick up. Plus, gamers will need to have it to complete their rare collection. This guide will provide a brief description of how to find the Civil War Knife in Red Dead 2.
Where to Find The Civil War Knife
Gamers will find the knife near Moosey Flats, which is on the east side of the Kamasa River to the west of the Van Horn Trading Post. Players can either head due southwest from the Van Horn Trading Post, or travel east/southeast from Emerald Station. Gamers can follow either the road from the Kamassa River or one of the two roads that cross the train tracks to the east to find the spot on the map. A small path will lead north from the road that will guide players to the correct location. There, players will spot what looks like an abandoned set of houses inside of a previously fortified camp. On the west side of the of the old fort (Fort Brennand), gamers will see a one-story cabin.
In the back right corner of the cabin, there is a ladder that leads down into the basement. After taking the ladder down, players will see a stack of crates on the far side of the room. The knife will be located on top of one of the crates. Gamers should probably use a lantern, as the basement is quite dark.
The Civil War Hat
While players are in the basement, they can also acquire the Civil War Hat. In the southwest corner of the basement, there will be a multi-level shelf. Players should use their lantern and inspect the lowest shelf to find the hat. Similar to the Civil War knife, the hat does not give players any stat increases. It is, however, a cool item to have.
On the west side of the basement, players will find a chest that has two items; the Civil War Report and one gold nugget. Additionally, gamers can pick up ammunition, fine brandy, and aged pirate rum, all of which are on the shelving in the basement. Gamers can find all of these items in just one room at Fort Brennand
