A significant reason as to why Red Dead Redemption 2 has managed to maintain its popularity for so long is its memorability. Red Dead Redemption 2 is rife with distinct, user interactive details that manage to stand out in unexpected ways. In fact, one fan has created a piece of fan-art that perfectly replicates one of Red Dead Redemption 2 player character details.

Many who have played Red Dead Redemption 2 have grown to become attached to Arthur Morgan, the main playable protagonist of Red Dead Redemption 2. Over the course of the game, Arthur's character evolves quite a lot. While this can be hard to pick up on at times, one of the easiest ways to tangibly notice how far Arthur has come as a character is by looking through his in-game journal, which is populated with the character's various musings and drawings of different creatures and landmarks. Now, one fan has managed to recreate Arthur's drawing style.

A Reddit user named DoctorHarry1969 shared a drawing of Horseshoe Overlook in a style that's nearly identical to how Arthur draws in Red Dead Redemption 2. Horseshoe Overlook is one of the earliest in-game campsites the Van der Linde gang occupy and for many fans of the game, it's one of the most memorable locations in Red Dead Redemption 2.

It's impressive how closely the user's drawing resembles the various sketches that Arthur creates over the course of the game. While many other users have managed to replicate Arthur's drawing style, but this depiction in particular truly stands out. Although, the Red Dead Redemption 2 community has also been known to poke fun at Arthur Morgan's artistic abilities.

Several months ago, another user noticed a drawing of a duck that Arthur did in his journal and many others were quick to point out how weird it looks by comparison to the rest of his in-game drawings. Apparently, the poor sketch is due to the lack of in-game exposure to that particular animal, but it still contrasts poorly with the rest of the detailed sketches seen throughout the journal.

It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Red Dead Redemption 2. Right now, the bulk of new content has come in the form of Red Dead Online and there likely won't be any DLC expansions, given how much time it's been since the game first launched. It's possible that fans won't see another addition to the Red Dead Redemption series for quite some time.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
