A Red Dead Redemption 2 fan has shared their incredible recreation of the game's cover art with LEGO figures. Red Dead Redemption 2 is known for its attention to detail, and this piece lives up to those lofty standards.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has been out for almost five years now, and it seems as though there's no end to the creativity of the game's community. Players always want to find new and interesting ways to pay homage to one of the best video games of all time, doing so in their own way. One Red Dead Redemption 2 fan adapted the game into a novel for their mom, in one of their more heartwarming tributes to the game ever. It's easy to forget that there are many out there who aren't gamers, and fan tributes like this make it more accessible to those outside of the gaming sphere.

Redditor Candid-Revenue-3326 showed off their incredible work of art, depicting the front cover of Red Dead Redemption 2 and its protagonists as if they were LEGO figures. Initially, it doesn't exactly seem like a match made in Heaven, but there's a simplistic charm to the piece that really works with the vibe of Red Dead Redemption 2. The original cover of the game is composed mostly of low-detail silhouettes, which means the LEGO pieces are able to fill in perfectly. They even go as far as to show off the untextured 3D models used in the artwork, giving a glimpse into how the incredible image was created.

While gamers in the thread appreciated the effort of the poster, they took the time to ponder what a LEGO version of Red Dead Redemption 2 could potentially look like. The LEGO games are known for their unique brand of humor that would likely be at odds with the emotional heft of Red Dead Redemption 2's tragic story. While it might not work on paper, it would certainly be interesting to see such a thing attempted, at the very least.

It's been a long time since players heard anything from Rockstar about the future of the Red Dead Redemption franchise. The series is a winner for Rockstar, but the reality is its games take a very long time to complete, with GTA 6 having now presumably been in development for a decade. Even if it takes some long time, it certainly seems as though Red Dead Redemption 3 is on the cards, and it would be a surprise to not see the game ever released.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
