There's no doubt that myriad gamers are currently diving into all of the content to be had in Red Dead Redemption 2's multiplayer beta, Red Dead Online, but as is the nature with video games, we all have to return to reality on occasion. With this being the case, Rockstar Games has decided to give players the chance to take the Old West styles found in the open world sequel and wear them in real life with an official RDR2 clothing line.

As seen in the images below, Rockstar Games has decided to partner up with the apparel company Barking Irons to distribute what is being known as the Red Dead Redemption 2 Collection, with the clothing line including garb worn by protagonist Arthur Morgan and items based on in-game designs. For instance, there's the brown Gunslinger Jacket, as well as Arthur's Denim Chore Shirt, Railroad Shirt, Everyday Shirt, and white cotton Union Henley Shirt. Plus, Rockstar and Barking Irons are offering up a sturdy-looking Riding Duffel Bag, a Saddle Bag, and an RDR2 Beach Tote.

For those Red Dead Redemption 2 fans who wish to snag any of the aforementioned items, it's worth noting that this is a limited edition clothing line, so they would do well to check out available sizes for the clothes and prices right here. Should one be looking for something a little bit more casual from the collection, Rockstar has also declared that it will be adding RDR2 branded t-shirts to the line at a later date.

All things considered, while some might see the Red Dead Redemption 2 Collection as an outlandish example of Rockstar indiscreetly trying to wring as much money from its property as possible, this isn't the first time a developer has released a pricey clothing line based on a video game. For instance, Metal Gear, Deus Ex, and even Gran Turismo have each previously released clothing based on what characters wear in the games. So, it's safe to presume we will see even more wares like this sold in the future.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
