From myriad airborne fowl to a wide variety of different land-dwelling creatures, there's no doubt that Red Dead Redemption 2 is chock full of beautiful wildlife for players to track, catch, hunt, ride, or simply admire from a distance. With this being the case, one fan has decided to grow the open world western's count of critters by using their video editing skills to add their own pet cat into a hunting mission from the game's single player campaign.

As seen in the video below from the Redditor and Red Dead Redemption 2 fan known as "tiboac", the player's giant black cat replaces a massive boar that the protagonist Arthur Morgan and side character Hamish Sinclair hunt together. As most would likely agree, the hunting mission itself can be intense, but the results of Arthur and Hamish's outing in the footage from tiboac easily bests any outcome that one might encounter in the actual game.

Of course, while tiboac's clip is a fun little romp for both Red Dead Redemption 2 and cat lovers to enjoy, it's worth noting that the story mode itself has no shortage of humorous moments–whether intentional or not. For instance, one unforeseen glitch that occurred around the week that RDR2 released caused a player's horse to spontaneously catch fire, with there being little to no warning at all before it happened.

Taking all of this into consideration, with Red Dead Redemption 2 easily being one of the biggest games of 2018, it's safe to presume that fans will continue diving into the title well into next year and beyond, and will use it as inspiration for their own creations as well. And should Rockstar eventually add the Rockstar Editor as a tool for players to use in the future, then we will surely see a plethora of fan-made RDR2 content flood the online space for some time to come.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
