Sometimes, a glitch or bug happens in a video game that makes no sense. It doesn’t matter how well the game is put together, it’s going to happen. There are various examples out there from minor like Roach appearing on top of a house in The Witcher 3 to major like Apex Legends matches turning into swirling colors as players fly in a circle for the entire game.

One moment in Red Dead Redemption 2, recently shared by user chanceywhatever13, falls somewhere in the middle. During a firefight with some opponents on horseback, a horse comes flying out of nowhere on the right side of the screen, hitting and killing Arthur Morgan. This moment is wild enough, but it’s what the community did with it that took it to the next level.

Quickly, many began making jokes and references to Attack on Titan. It wasn’t long before one user, Redditor ToXack2012, went the extra mile and actually combined chanceywhatever13’s video with the Attack on Titan episode in question. The original Red Dead Redemption 2 clip can be seen below and the result amalgamation of it and Attack on Titan can be seen HERE.

For the uninitiated, the reference in question comes from Attack on Titan Season 1 Episode 1. In it, a Beast Titan grabs a horse and throws it. The major change in the above clip is that, instead of landing on the house, the horse comes flying through the air at Arthur Morgan—almost perfectly combining the two clips together. Genuinely, it’s a beautiful and hilarious crossover that any fan of both should see.

It is far from the only time the Red Dead Redemption community has come together, for wholesome reasons, out-there ones, or just hilarious ones. In the past, this community has ranked all the best chapters in the game, shared incredible Red Dead Online creations, walked across a map eating stew, and shared all the little details that make Red Dead 2 the instant classic it is.

Despite releasing in 2018, Red Dead Redemption 2 remains as strong as ever, and this is without anything like DLC. This alone proves it stands the test of time, but really, it’s the community coming together to create mashups like this Attack on Titan-Red Dead 2 clip, as well as other community creations, that take it to the next level.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
