As is the case with many of Rockstar's games, Red Dead Redemption 2 has been a huge success. With 43 million Red Dead Redemption 2 copies sold, calling the second entry in the Wild West series a smash hit would be an understatement.

However, Red Dead Redemption 2 holds its fair share of glitches. These glitches can range anywhere from harmless to game breaking, and as such can also range from funny to infuriating. Fans have called for fixes, but many are still dissatisfied, with an example of one humorous bug amusing some but upsetting others.

On the more harmless end, players encounter hilarious moments like Red Dead Redemption 2 horses becoming buried momentarily. These tiny errors in the game make for funny, memorable moments that typically improve players' feelings about a game. However, on the more infuriating end, there are glitches such as drawers causing players to phase out of the map and teleport.

Like a Red Dead Redemption 2 horse killing a player completely at random, the drawer glitch seems to be a completely random event caused by a player searching through drawers. In the clip, Reddit user scioto77 is simply stealing money and items from some drawers when suddenly their screen goes blank. When they turn the point of view, Arthur is floating in the air, and when they turn the point of view again Arthur goes sailing upwards. The clip ends with Arthur having teleported between multiple locations during his strange out-of-map experience. The video can be seen in its entirety here.

While the clip was quite humorous, with other Reddit users joking Arthur may have gone on a spirit journey or that he took a few too many drugs, it points to the major problem of the numerous game-breaking bugs that still exist in the game. Many Red Dead Redemption 2 glitch lists have been compiled by players to warn others about the potentially irritating or game-breaking problems the game still contains. Reddit users in scioto77's thread lamented the fact that Rockstar couldn't be bothered to patch out some of the more harmful glitches, some of which have been around since launch day. Scioto77 lamented with them, saying that Rockstar stopped caring about the base game when Red Dead Online was launched.

Regardless of whether Rockstar abandoned the game or not, some of the glitches that currently exist in Red Dead Redemption 2 should be patched out. While some of them are harmless or even funny, such as one Red Dead Redemption 2 player glitching to Mexico, others like scioto77's teleporting drawers can be detrimental to a player's progression and experience.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
