As more and more players finish the Red Dead Redemption 2 campaign and start to run out of content to explore in the core game, the attention begins to shift over to Red Dead Online. Although the online feature does not have an official release date yet, a new load of information about the beta just dropped.

Red Dead Online is being pitched as something completely new and promises to take the best parts of Red Dead Redemption 2 and combine them with everything Rockstar has learned from GTA Online. Fans of the game have no doubt that there will be plenty to keep them busy and, for now, the big question has been more about when exactly they can get a taste of the online gameplay.

Here is exactly when players can expect to gain access to the upcoming Red Dead Online beta period...

Tuesday, November 27: All Red Dead Redemption 2: Ultimate Edition owners. Please note, players who purchased the physical Ultimate Edition must redeem the Ultimate Edition code in the packaging to be eligible.

Wednesday, November 28: All players who played Red Dead Redemption 2 on October 26th according to our data.

Thursday, November 29: All players who played Red Dead Redemption 2 between October 26th to October 29th according to our data.

Friday, November 30: All players who own Red Dead Redemption 2.

"The Red Dead Online Beta will be available to anyone who owns Red Dead Redemption 2 on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One starting Friday, November 30. When booting up Red Dead Redemption 2 and arriving to the title menu, you will see an option in the top right of the screen to select Online."

That means that before the week is over all Red Dead Redemption 2 owners will have the opportunity to jump in and test out the upcoming online features. Hopefully it also means that an official launch is scheduled to follow in the very near future.
