Red Dead Redemption 2 players continue to exemplify the creativity of the fan community, this time using a popular miniature-creating software called Hero Forge. Fans created an Arthur Morgan model in the software that looks a lot like the popular character, and another player made another character that's well-known for being so hated: Micah Bell.

Red Dead Redemption 2 fans are known for being willing to spend a lot of time on the game, whether that's creating miniatures like these fans did, or diving deep into the screenshots and lore to uncover mysteries like that of the dead body in an outhouse in Micah's hideout. Simply put, this is a fandom that loves focusing on details, and Hero Forge, a software designed to give users a lot of control over how their miniature looks, is perfect for RDR2 players.

Some people hand paint their Arthur Morgan fan art, while Reddit user childishmarkeeloo created this one online. Hero Forge enables users to create a three dimensional model and, if they pay for it, a 3D-printed miniature. The Redditor shares multiple angles of their rendition of Morgan, who comes with a faux campfire and a revolver that is in one shot pointing right at the viewer. Morgan also has a coiled whip and a holster at his hips, and his pose looks ready for action.

Reddit user Danklous followed up on the trend with a miniature of their own, this one of "That Rat," otherwise known as the RDR2 fan-hated Micah Bell. Micah is a pretty heinous character who's enacted atrocities on NPCs and on Morgan, but he still gets to be the star of his own mini. A few people in the comments expressed their feelings for the character by asking that the miniature instead be behind prison bars or injured, like when the character is shot several times in-game.

Hero Forge was designed to be used for tabletop miniature figurines for games like Warhammer 40K and Dungeons and Dragons, but plenty of fans have been using the software to create characters from other games. Of course, there's no in-game limit on what franchise people are creating for, and there are so many in-game options for customization that it's easy to see why people are branching out from just tabletop.

Given the popularity of Hero Forge, it's likely that there are more Red Dead Redemption 2 fan creations out there, and hopefully more people will jump on the bandwagon and share these minis for everyone's enjoyment.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
