The nature of Red Dead Redemption 2 and its memorable characters tend to invite fans to put their own touch on those characters. There's certainly no shortage of RDR2 fan art out there, but one Reddit user found a way to put an original spin on how the game's lead character in Arthur Morgan looks.

Whether it's the immersive storytelling or the fact that Red Dead Redemption 2 has players spend so much time with Arthur, he seems to be one of the more popular video game characters to play around with, when it comes to his appearance. This time around, a social media user has decided to blend a completely different, but still well-known art style of the animated television show Archer with RDR 2 in order to give Arthur a very interesting appearance.

Reddit user raiderbirdy posted the piece of Red Dead Redemption 2 fan art showing Arthur standing tall and pointing one of his pistols off into the distance rather menacingly. The picture goes into great detail, managing to get the placing of things like Arthur's satchel just right and even includes the grizzled cowboy wearing some kind of fingerless gloves, likely in order to avoid chafing when gripping the reins of his horse tight.

While the Reddit user did not specifically say they were going for an Archer look with the fan art of Arthur Morgan, it's an almost uncannily close reproduction. Arthur is even boasting the slightly shiny effect that hair in the popular spy-comedy show sports for most of the male characters that are supposed to look handsome, including the titular character, Sterling Archer.

One of the reasons that Arthur has become so popular over the years with Red Dead Redemption 2 fans is because he's basically a bandit with a heart of gold. In the game, he's routinely acting as the morality of the gang he runs with. Of course, he's not always an angel himself, as the world of the Old West in Rockstar's hit game does require him to do unsavory acts from time to time. Still, the sheer volume that's been produced of the character over the years seems to indicate that fans of the game are drawn to him.

Of course, when it comes to fan creations in Red Dead Redemption 2, those creations are not limited to reproductions of the appearance of characters in the game. The nature of the game's multiplayer companion, Red Dead Online has allowed all kinds of different inventions. Crossovers, such as Wesley Snipes' Blade have even made it into the game.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
