While Red Dead Redemption 2's story mode may get the most attention, Red Dead Online still has plenty of fans as well. The online multiplayer component for Red Dead Redemption 2Red Dead Online is still going strong years after its release, with Rockstar Games releasing updates on a semi-regular basis to keep fans engaged. Something that fans seem to have quite a bit of fun with in the game is creating their own characters, which isn't possible in the story mode since that focuses on Arthur Morgan.

Red Dead Online's character creation tools give players the ability to create characters that are truly their own. But while fans can create completely original characters in Red Dead Online, they can also create the RDO versions of existing characters. This has ranged from Red Dead Online versions of Super Mario characters to Woody from Toy Story over the years, with one of the latest creations being based on the popular comic book and animated TV series Invincible.

Robert Kirkman's Invincible has become infinitely more popular thanks to the successful Amazon TV adaptation, creating many new fans and inspiring a ton of memes, usually revolving around the character of Omni-Man. Red Dead Online player and Reddit user HeySoloSoyYo recently brought Omni-Man to life in the game, creating a character that looks about as close to Omni-Man as would be possible without mods.

Omni-Man is one of the most popular characters from Invincible. For those who aren't aware of the show or the comic book, he is essentially Invincible's equivalent to Superman, though to go into his personality or motivations would be to venture into spoiler territory. Regardless, fans have taken a liking to the character, creating all kinds of fan art and things like this Red Dead Online take on the character.

As it stands, Omni-Man in Red Dead Online may be as close to fans will get to actually playing as the character in a video game. There doesn't seem to be any plans for an Invincible video game adaptation, though Mortal Kombat game director Ed Boon has weighed in on the prospect of Omni-Man joining the fighting game franchise as a guest fighter. Boon seems to think that Omni-Man would be solid pick as a Mortal Kombat guest fighter, so if fans are lucky, maybe he'll join the next installment of the ultra-violent series.

In the meantime, Amazon has renewed Invincible for two more seasons, so fans should have a lot more to look forward to.

Red Dead Online is out now for PC, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
