Crossovers between video games are often fun for members of both fandoms, especially when the people making the crossovers are fans themselves. One fan game crossover compares two very popular games, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Among Us, in a unique and hilarious way.

The Red Dead Redemption 2 fan community is known for being passionately devoted to the details, and when that comes together with the Among Us fans, things can get really creative. Among Us crossovers are becoming more common as the multiplayer social deduction game is enjoying newfound popularity almost two years after its release date. The two games are pretty well suited for each other when one factors in the backstabbing and social manipulation players and characters enact in both games.

Reddit user Zealousideal-Exam-44 took to the RDR2 subreddit to share their creation, which is a poster of several characters from Red Dead Redemption 2 along with the phrases "crewmate" and "There is 1 impostor among us" from Among Us. Players familiar with this social deduction game know that one is either a crewmate or an impostor, similar to mafia members and villagers in Mafia. In Among Us, crewmates must ascertain who the impostor is.

The implication here is that there's an "impostor" in Red Dead Redemption 2, and the thread comments are full of people guessing exactly who this Benedict Arnold would be. Some people said the impostor would be the fan-hated Micah Bell, who is a popular punching bag for RDR2 players due to the man's dubious moral choices and violence toward animals and children. However, someone else pointed out that Micah is transparently evil, while Dutch is much more willing to hide his true intentions.

Other guesses include the alcoholic thief Uncle, Jack Marston, or con artist Hosea. The game is full of conniving and trickster-inclined characters, even when some RDR2 players try to be more empathetic toward animals and NPCs. First-time players to the series often have a fun time figuring out who exactly they can and can't trust, just like those who pick up Among Us.

Fan crossover creations like this are often a fun way to get players both interested in the same two games doubly excited as they share their passion for multiple titles. Given the popularity of both these games, it's more likely that people have played them both, and people can use one game to get people hyped up for the other, and vice versa.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One. Among Us is available for Mobile and PC.
