Fresh from the announcements made in the Ubisoft Forward 2021 showcase, the game development and publishing company has recently released news that it is partnering with gaming peripherals brand Razer to produce a special edition of the BlackShark V2 Pro headset dedicated to the tactical shooter game, Rainbow Six Siege.
Many Rainbow Six fans have likely been very excited with the updates Ubisoft has made in the past few days during E3 2021. Not only did the devs show off the new Six Siege operator Thunderbird via a short animation, but the team also announced the upcoming installment in the franchise, Rainbow Six Extraction. Given these exciting updates, it is not surprising for Ubisoft to partner with a well-known peripherals brand like Razer to boost the online hype for the Rainbow Six video game franchise.
The Razer BlackShark V2 Pro Six Siege Special Edition will likely be very appreciated by both Six Siege players and fans. The headset has been re-colored orange and white, highlighting the game’s logo, and adding features that replicate iconic Six Siege design elements. The peripheral is decked out to be acoustically capable, with the Razer TriForce Titanium 50mm Drivers and THX Spatial Audio. This means that audio cues that will tip off Rainbow Six Siege players on identifying and spotting foe locations can come through clearer and more crisp through this headset. What's more, with the Razer BlackShark V2 Pro's closed earcups and snug design, outside noise will be cancelled out more effectively, allowing both hardcore and casual players to fully immerse themselves in the gaming experience.
With the Discord-certified Razer HyperClear Supercardioid Mic, players who rely heavily on voice chat will be able to communicate more efficiently with their teammates. Given that Rainbow Six Siege cross-platform play will be implemented soon according to the developers, clear and concise communication between operators will be all the more important in matches.
The Razer BlackShark V2 Pro Six Siege Special Edition is currently available for online orders on the Razer website, and is priced at USD $199.99 or €199.99. For those who prefer to purchase in-store, the Rainbow Six Siege headset will be available in RazerStore locations and specific retail outlets this coming July 2021. With the unique design, and trusted Razer peripheral technology, this headset looks to be a great piece to add to any Siege fan's collection.
