Razer is giving its Blade Stealth gaming laptop line an upgrade in its 13-inch model. This week, the popular tech hardware company revealed the late 2020 model of the Razer Blade Stealth 13, which will, among other things, include Intel's new 11th generation CPU.

That 11th gen Intel processor is the main selling point for the Razer Blade Stealth 13 as it is the key new component for the latter half of the year. Razer claims its i7-1165G CPU (up to 4.7GHz with boost) makes the Blade Stealth 13 the "first gaming ultrabook." The gaming laptop also comes standard with an Nvidia GTX 1650 Ti GPU, 16GB of RAM, and at least 512GB of storage space. The laptop will start rolling out to retailers later this month at a suggested price of $1,799.

Gaming laptops have come a long way over the last decade, both in terms of their power and their price points. Portability is always paramount when it comes to laptops and usually that results in a sacrifice in performance. Now, though, laptops like the Blade Stealth 13 pack plenty of power to run current games at standard settings and frame rates, or perform productive tasks with minimal downtime.

To that point, Razer plans to offer the Blade Stealth 13 with either an OLED touchscreen for those who choose to use the laptop as more of a personal computer or a 120Hz screen option for higher-end gaming. Either way, the visuals should look pretty crisp on the gaming laptop, but there are choices to be made based on each user.

It has been a big month for Razer, who announced a PC case, a new line of wireless accessories, and a Razer gaming chair within the last few weeks. Now, the Blade Stealth 13 jumps into the conversation as an affordable gaming laptop option with some exciting new tech under the hood.

The Razer Blade Stealth 13 will be available later this month for $1,799.
