Since its launch all the way back in early 2020, Call of Duty: Warzone has continued to be a dominant force in the battle royale genre. Thanks to constant updates, new cosmetics, and constantly changing content, the free-to-play experience has been a go-to source for many players. In fact, the experience is on the verge of evolving once again as Modern Warfare 2 launches in a few short months, with many excited to see the next iteration of Warzone.

However, for all of its popularity, Warzone hasn't always been a flawless experience. The game has had its far share of issues ranging from lesser problems such as visual glitches, countless hacking related incidents, to more severe bugs like an invincibility glitch that allowed Warzone players to essentially survive what would have been lethal damage. Recently, fans have run into another major and common issue that has left players frustrated with the experience.

Over the past few weeks during Season 4 Reloaded, many Call of Duty: Warzone players have been impacted by an infinite loop bug when attempting to log in. One of the status messages during the boot up process is "In progress: Fetching store info" and while the game is supposed to continue to load from there, players have found themselves stuck at this message for an absurdly lengthy period of time, or the game crashes entirely. Naturally, this has left the community frustrated especially as it doesn't seem to be consistent.

Making matters worse, there isn't a current workaround for this issue. However, Raven Software has acknowledged the issue and confirmed it is currently investigating the frustrating bug, posting a link to a Trello Board where players can keep track of progress and updates. Players are no doubt eager to see this issue resolved, as some in the community have resorted to more extreme tactics in an attempt to fix it. One Call of Duty: Warzone redditor named hospinat attempted to reinstall the game twice including external and console storage as well as deleting the game's save data, to no effect.

While the infinite looping bug is a priority for the community, others have felt frustration surrounding the fact that the recent Season 4 Reloaded update removed the fan favorite mode called Plunder. Primarily a more relaxed mode with respawning from the traditional and hectic Battle Royale mode, fans have been wanting Plunder to be a permanent addition, instead of being rotated out every so often. While Plunder will no doubt return at some point, players who want a more casual and chill experience will have to wait for now.

Call of Duty: Warzone is available for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
