The Ratchet & Clank re-imagining that originally released in 2016 is making a comeback in a way. Ratchet & Clank kicks off Sony's Play At Home Initiative for the month of March as a free download and due to its sequel coming out in just a few short months on PS5, Rift Apart, there's no better time to jump into this well-received entry.

If there are players out there that are experiencing Ratchet & Clank for the first time, they might be looking for tips on how to complete a certain little optional mission in Novalis that requires players to "search the caves for hidden treasure." This guide will walk players through the mission.

Once players swim across the water and into the caves, the prompt that was just mentioned will pop up on the screen, but where exactly are players supposed to search? Players should jump up the first steps into the cave, proceed straight, and then hop into the pool of water to gain access to a tube that takes players to the next section. Swim up and out of the pool to face a green-colored monster.

To the left of the monster will be a small little cube that cannot be broken with Ratchet's melee weapon, but if players instead throw a bomb right at the cracked wall behind the box, there will be a hidden cave to be found. Inside the cave will be a Holocard Pack and some extra goodies. This is the hidden treasure that players will be looking for, so once it's collected, the quest will be finally completed.

If players would like to view the newly collected card pack, they can press the Options button when the prompt appears. If players miss it, just open the menu and it'll be there to view as well.

As for when the next Ratchet & Clank game, Rift Apart will be launching on the PS5 as an exclusive title and is being developed by Insomniac Games. The title will apparently be a standalone story that's not very connected to past games so that it will appeal to franchise newcomers. For hardcore fans of the series, pre-orders are available now with the Digital Deluxe edition containing the Carbonox armor from Ratchet & Clank: Going Commando and the Pixelizer weapon from Ratchet & Clank (2016).

Ratchet & Clank is available on PS4 and can be played on PS5 via backwards compatibility.
