Insomniac Games' latest entry in the esteemed Ratchet and Clank franchise is here, and the mostly linear adventure takes players through the shoes of two different characters. The story this time around focuses on Ratchet, as well as a new character named Rivet, who happens to be another Lombax. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart sees the two of them travel from planet to planet as they work to stop both versions of Nefarious.

While most of the game is spent traversing through linear sections and then fighting off against a group of enemies, there are moments when the player can choose to break away from the main path to test their skills in the game's challenges over at Zurkie's. There are many different challenges for Ratchet and Rivet to try out, and there are three different tiers of them.

How to Unlock Silver Cup at Zurkie's

For players that have wrapped up all of the bronze challenges and are looking to run through even more of them, they have to unlock the silver cup at Zurkie's. Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart players might think that the next tier would unlock after completing the bronze cup, but that's not the case here. To get the silver cup challenges, players will simply need to progress through the game's campaign until the missions on Torren 4 and Cordelion are all done.

And to unlock the gold cup at Zurkie's, players will need to get even farther in the game. The rescue mission at Viceron will need to be completed, which is typically around the 10-12 hour mark of the story mode.

There are five challenges for each of the three cups, and the game will reward players with some currency once they're all completed, which can be used to purchase useful Ratchet and Clank weapons and other items.

For all of the trophy hunters out there, it's worth noting that there are two trophies tied to these Battleplex challenges. The bronze trophy 'Victory!' can be obtained by completing just one Battleplex challenge. The silver trophy 'Can't Stop Me' is rewarded to Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart players for completing a gold cup Battleplex challenge.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is now available on the PS5 as an exclusive title.
