Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart brings back Raritanium, a resource used for upgrading weapons. Players will want to upgrade their weapons quickly to get the most out of them, requiring a lot of Raritanium to do that. Players can find Raritanium hiding in the game; however, there is a way to get a lot of Raritanium quickly.

Raritanium can be found throughout the game and can be earned from quests, or found in boxes. With a lot of weapons in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart, players will need to collect a lot of Raritanium or prioritize what weapons they upgrade. Fortunately, Zurkie’s battle area has an answer to the need for Raritanium.

In the second half of the game, players gain access to the Silver Cup at Zurkon Jr’s battle arena. The last challenge against the Seekerpede, Scolo, awards 4 Raritanium on the player's first playthrough, defeating the boss also awards an additional 6 Raritanium. This makes for a total of 10 Raritanium in just a few minutes.

The real profit comes on a player's second playthrough of Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart on Challenge Mode, here the Seekerpede challenge awards 20 Raritanium for completing it, on top of the 6 players get for beating the Seekerpede. This makes for 26 Raritanium per completion.

Since players have access to the more powerful version of their weapons, the Seekerpede becomes easier to take down. Using a combination of the Topiary Sprinkler and Cold Front to debuff the Seekerpede, players can then deal a lot of burst damage with the RYNO 8, assuming they have collected all the Spybots in Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. If players run out of RYNO 8 ammo, cycling through their other boss damage weapons such as the Large Negatron Collider, Peacemaker, or Shatterblast will finish out the fight quickly.

Players doing this farm on the Challenge Mode optimize their fights to get 26 Raritanium in about a minute, making it the fastest source of this resource yet. Ratchet and Rivet will soon have enough Raritanium to fully level up their weapons. In the long run, this isn’t necessary as Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart provides more than enough Raritanium to fully upgrade all the weapons and their Omega versions.

Ratchet and Clank fans wanting to quickly upgrade their weapons will find this short and quick farm useful and is a perfect thing to do before starting the end sequence of Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart. Purchasing all the Omega versions of the weapons will be the part that takes the longest when completing Ratchet and Rivet's arsenal; however, the Gold Cup in Challenge mode will provide more than enough Bolts to buy whatever players haven’t already unlocked.

Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart is available now for PlayStation 5.
