Elden Ring stands as one of the highest-rated video games of all time, and that has translated to it becoming a massive financial success for developer FromSoftware and publisher Bandai Namco. Millions of gamers have explored the Lands Between for themselves, slaying its toughest bosses and finding its greatest secrets. One such dedicated Elden Ring player is none other than WWE superstar Randy Orton, who recently revealed his level in the game.

Speaking to fans on Twitter, Orton revealed that he has been playing Elden Ring quite a lot, and in fact has reached quite a high level in the game. According to Orton, he has managed to reach an astonishing level 527 in FromSoftware's open world epic, which is no small feat. It wouldn't be unheard of for Elden Ring players to beat the game multiple times and not even get close to level 527, which is a testament to how much time Orton has put into the game.

There are certainly ways to farm Elden Ring runes fast to make the leveling process a little quicker, but even using those methods, it's still going to take an incredibly long time to hit level 527. That's because each level in Elden Ring costs more runes than the previous one, so those higher levels become incredibly expensive as the game goes on.

Being level 527 in Elden Ring is nothing to sniff at, but Orton is still about 200 levels shy of hitting the cap. The max level in Elden Ring is 713, which costs over 1 billion runes to reach. Elden Ring players will hit level 713 after they've maxed out all their stats to 99. This isn't necessarily something that's called for since Elden Ring has soft caps that give players significant diminishing returns on their investments, but players that hit the cap will have a character capable of doing pretty much anything in the game, able to adapt to any builds without needing to respec.

There are rumors that FromSoftware is planning to release an Elden Ring DLC expansion at some point down the line, and if those rumors are accurate, it will be interesting to see how it handles high-level players. It's possible Elden Ring players will be too powerful for the DLC and mow everything down, but it's also possible that it will scale to their level to make for more of a challenge. Elden Ring DLC hasn't actually been announced at the time of this writing, though, so that's all just speculation.

Randy Orton, meanwhile, is currently celebrating 20 years since his WWE main roster debut. Right now, he's in a tag team with Riddle, and the two hold the WWE Raw Tag Team Championships together. At the upcoming WrestleMania Backlash event, Orton and Riddle will be fighting The Usos in a Winner Take All Match to unify the Raw and SmackDown tag titles. WrestleMania Backlash isn't until May 8, so Orton should have plenty more Elden Ring time between now and then.

Elden Ring is out now for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
