Raji: An Ancient Epic made quite the splash following its surprise launch on the Switch during the Nintendo Indie Showcase. The confirmed timed exclusive made a big impression leaving those without a Switch wanting to know how long the wait would be. Two weeks after making its debut, those eager for Raji won't have to wait too long.

Raji: An Ancient Epic will release on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One on October 15, making it a whole two months after Raji launched on Switch. The release date was confirmed in the game's recent Gamescom trailer that showed off more of the Ancient India setting and Raji's combat.

Raji: An Ancient Epic sees players take control of Raji, a young girl on a quest to find her brother Golu after being separated by a demonic invasion. Raji takes it upon herself to end the war by taking down the demon lords. Raji: An Ancient Epic touts bringing a new experience to the gaming world with an emphasis on the ancient India setting infused with Hindu and Balinese mythology. The reception to Raji has been mixed with both critics and players praising the unique setting while finding fault with the combat.

Raji's release and exclusivity are part of Nintendo's much stronger independent developer push, as demonstrated through its Indie World Showcase. Some critics consider Nintendo's new indie dominance to be a success, with games like Raji: An Ancient Epic being a big indication of that. While the Nintendo Switch may seem like an Animal Crossing system for most, Nintendo continues to put greater emphasis on the plethora of indie games coming to the system.

Raji: An Ancient Epic is available now on Nintendo Switch and will release on PC, PS4, and Xbox One on October 15.
