About a couple of weeks ago, Ubisoft offered a brief overview of Operation Chimera's operators in Rainbow Six Siege, revealing that the first one is French and the other hails from Russia, with both being two of the very best biohazard specialists in the world. Now, the video game publisher and developer has officially unveiled the identities of the two new operators coming to the tactical shooter with the release of a new trailer.

As seen below in the latest official video for Rainbow Six Siege, the two new operators on the way for Operation Chimera are named Finka and Lion, with the former being of Russian descent and the latter of French ancestry. In the trailer, both of the game's fresh operators are in a briefing room receiving information on a slew of biochemical weapons that they will need to be prepared to deal with once out in the field. According to the video's description, they are the "best hope against the dangers lurking in the Quarantine Zone."

Prior to Finka and Lion's official reveal as Rainbow Six Siege's newest operators, Ubisoft teased both of their abilities in a blog post in order to prepare fans for their inclusion alongside Operation Chimera. According to a blog post from the company, Finka will have access to self-dissolving nanobots for a wide range of currently undefined applications, while Lion will utilize a drone so as to maintain quarantine perimeters.

While Rainbow Six Siege fans still have to wait a little while longer for Operation Chimera's release and for the upcoming Outbreak event to go live, those who currently don't own the title have a chance to give it a go at no cost for the next several days. Ubisoft is currently offering a free play weekend, which is set to end on February 20, 2018, and should offer a solid primer for those who want to continue their adventures as a part of the Rainbow Six team by purchasing the game in full.

Rainbow Six Siege is available now for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
