Rainbow Six Siege will soon see a brand new operator. After teasing operation Neon Dawn yesterday, Ubisoft has teased Aruni with a short video on Twitter, the newest operator to the tactical team-oriented shooter.

The operators are one of the things that make Rainbow Six Siege, which recently came to Xbox Game Pass, truly special. The playable characters in the game all have their own unique set of abilities and characteristics that teams can use to fight towards victory. The newest operator is Aruni, and she is a Defender.

The quick 21-second video shows a laser wall being implemented underneath a doorway. Aruni then says "my gate stands like a star in the darkness." The gate is a burning light, one that seems to damage enemies who try to pass through. Aruni ends the teaser by asking "can you take the heat?" This is the same phrase that was used during the teaser tweet yesterday. The full reveal is set to go down on November 8, 2020, during the EU major for Rainbow Six Siege.

It will be interesting to see how Aruni plays in-game. She seems like a rather intense character, as her stare into the screen shows the seriousness in her eyes, and also a notable scar across her face. The update will likely arrive soon, but more info will be revealed in the coming days. The tone of what is on the way is also intriguing, as the Neon Dawn tease showcased colors and vibes that were upbeat and colorful, while the Aruni tease seems more daunting. Nothing quite compares, however, to the goofy Halloween update for Rainbow Six Siege.

Rainbow Six: Siege is available for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, with plans for next-gen consoles.
