Rage 2 led the way at Bethesda's E3 2018 press conference, with Andrew W.K. even performing live for the audience of fans and media. But halfway through the E3 gameplay trailer for Rage 2, what appeared to be a joke advertisement for the game's Collector's Edition was shown. It turns out, that was real. After the trailer Bethesda social media confirmed Rage 2's Collector's Edition, replete with talking Ruckus the Crusher talking head, was available for pre-order.

Costing $119.99, the Rage 2 Collector's Edition comes replete with several items that excited fans would love to add to their horde. The Ruckus the Crusher talking head, a custom Steelbook, and the game itself are the Collector's Editions special material items, but of course there's a selection of digital content as well:

  • Monster Truck
  • BFG
  • Weapon and Armor
  • Exclusive Mission: Cult of the Death God
  • 'Wasteland Wizard' Cheat Code
  • ... and the as yet unrevealed Deluxe Edition Content

Both Rage 2's Deluxe Edition and Collector's Edition are available now for pre-order, costing $79.99 and $119.99 respectively. Unfortunately, details regarding the exclusive content included with the Deluxe Edition have not yet been revealed. Expect more information on Rage 2's various editions later into E3.

Bethesda has come out strong for Rage 2 at E3 2018, not only focusing early marketing on the game in the week prior to E3 but also giving it a big chunk of time during its E3 press conference. Rockstar Andrew W.K. gave a live performance of a song that's been a major part of Rage 2 advertising and then a 7-minute gameplay trailer was shown. While Rage 2 won't launch in 2018, it does appear to be Bethesda's next big game release. Hopefully, the quality of the Collector's Edition lines up with that.

More information about Rage 2 and its unique selection of monstrous foes, like handsome Mr. Ruckus the Crusher, should be available during E3 and through the months prior to launch.

Rage 2 releases in spring 2019 for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
