Just like all gaming events this year, QuakeCon has also transitioned to an online event where several streams containing developer panels, concerts, and more await players. Now, Bethesda is currently hosting a QuakeCon Sale on the Nintendo eShop that discounts some of the studio's biggest games on the Nintendo Switch, but players should note that the QuakeCon Sale is set to end tomorrow, August 10, at 11:59 PM PT.

Headlining the Nintendo eShop's QuakeCon Sale is Bethesda's massive hit, Skyrim. Ever since its release back in 2011, Skyrim has become one of the most remastered and re-released games under Bethesda's belt. At the moment, players can purchase the Nintendo Switch version of Skyrim for $29.99, which is 50% off its original price of $59.99.

Another noteworthy Bethesda game that players can get on sale for the Switch right now is 2016's Doom. To the uninitiated, Doom was first released for the PC, PS4, and Xbox One in May 2019 and was later ported to the Nintendo Switch in November of 2017. At the time, many were sskeptical about the capabilities of the Switch in handling technically demanding games, but Doom's port to the Switch proved just how capable the console is. Players can now purchase Doom on the Nintendo Switch for $29.99 or 50% cheaper than its original price of $59.99.

Lastly, Nintendo is also offering a good deal for Bethesda's Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus. Similar to Skyrim and Doom, Wolfenstein 2 is currently available for the Nintendo Switch for $29.99 or half of its original price of $59.99. To the uninitiated, Wolfenstein 2 was first released to the PC, PS4, and Xbox One in October 2017. However, Bethesda and a studio called Panic Button worked together to bring Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus to Nintendo's hybrid console.

The Switch version of the game was eventually released in June of 2018 and fans were mostly satisfied with its performance on the Nintendo Switch. As expected, people were also apprehensive about how a huge game such as Wolfenstein 2 would perform on the Switch. However, similar to Skyrim and Doom, the release of Wolfenstein 2 on the Nintendo Switch proved once again that the console is capable of running games that are typically released on either the PC, PS4, or Xbox One.
