A line of clothing and accessories based on Final Fantasy 14 has been announced by Square Enix and Puma. It is not uncommon for various video game developers and publishers to work with other companies to create special events and items for fans to enjoy. Game series such as Pokemon and NieR have had collaborations that allow gamers to celebrate their favorite franchises away from their rigs.

One recently announced collaboration is between clothing manufacturer Puma and game developer Square Enix. The two have revealed a line of clothes and accessories that will be based on Final Fantasy 14, with the main theme being the duality of light and darkness that is seen in the MMORPG title. The team-up between the companies is meant to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the release of A Realm Reborn and features the tagline "A Wardrobe Reborn."

The Puma x Final Fantasy 14 collection will feature 17 items that include a number of T-shirts, hoodies, backpacks, sweatpants, and hats. In order to prepare for the release of the clothes and accessories based on the Final Fantasy title, a teaser trailer was released. The short video gives a peek at what gamers can expect when the collection is released. Gamers can expect the items to go on sale in Japan and selected regions March 15 and in North America on March 25.

The Final Fantasy 14 collection is a continuation of a collaboration between Puma and Square Enix that was announced on March 6. A shoe collection featuring four different types of sneakers has also been revealed that will be sold in light and dark versions for around $125 starting on March 15. Two of the sneakers will be Puma Slipstream models, with the other two being the Puma RS-X model.

The Puma Slipstream shoes will come with a Crystal charm and the "Meteor" logo, while the Puma RS-X sneakers will have the "Fat Cat" design on the shoe tongue, heel, and insole, which is a reference to one of the in-game minions found within Final Fantasy 14. An international release for the shoes has not been confirmed yet, and the Japanese version of the Puma online store does not support worldwide shipping at the moment.

The clothing collection from Puma and Square Enix is a great thing for fans of Final Fantasy 14. It will allow them to represent a game that they love while also looking stylish. A number of other collaborations can be expected as 2023 continues, especially with titles such as Final Fantasy 16, Street Fighter 6, and Starfield releasing later this year. It should provide players with something to look forward to alongside these highly anticipated games.

Final Fantasy 14 is available now for PC, PS4, and PS5.
